How we make money

lowest.mortgage is a comparison site. We are not a lender, broker or loan originator. We do not underwrite, quote, lock or close loans.

Two ways we get paid

1. Referral fees. When you choose to connect with a partner lender or broker, that partner may pay us a fee. You never pay us anything.
2. Advertising. Some lenders pay to place a banner on the site. Ads are labeled as ads and never appear inside a ranked table.

What compensation never does

Every ranked table on this site sorts from lowest APR to highest, for the loan scenario you entered. A partner cannot pay to move up. If a partner pays us nothing, its offer still shows in its APR position.

Our name

"lowest.mortgage" is a brand name. It is not a promise that any offer shown here is the lowest available to you, and we do not guarantee any rate. Your actual rate is set by the lender after a full application.
