The three-day rule
You must receive this form at least three business days before closing. If the APR changed by more than 0.125 points on a fixed-rate loan, the loan product changed, or a prepayment penalty was added, the clock restarts.
This is different from the three-day right to cancel that some refinance and home equity borrowers get after signing. That rescission rule does not apply to a home purchase. Source: CFPB.
